Costumes can be divided into four major categories: Sexy, Quirky, Novelty/Humor, and traditional. Sexy costumes are usually marketed to young women. Examples include school girl, cheerleader, bunny costumes or even a woodland fairy costume. Quirky costumes are meant to be interesting and nontraditional. Often you will want to construct these yourself. Examples include costumes depicting a flower pot, a bunch of grapes, or an optical illusion.

Novelty or humor costumes can usually be bought completely assembled and inexpensively as well. They are sometimes crude. Examples: A sumo wrestler, Dolly Parton, a condom. Traditional costumes are the ones usually associated with hallowed: a witch outfit, a police officer, or even a green fairy costume.

Every Pet Owner Should Have A Portable Dog Kennel

No one really thinks about a portable dog kennel until they have an emergency and need one. Then of course it is either too late or you have to pay top dollar for one.

If you decide to buy a portable dog kennel long before you need one then you can shop in the sales or even spend some time going round the local yard sales looking for bargains. If you have a large dog then you could be looking at spending as much as one hundred dollars so it really does make sense to shop around and try and find a deal if possible.

While you may not think you will ever need any kind of dog crate, maybe you just put your dog on your lap wherever you go at the moment, there will come a time when the dog is sick or you have an emergency and you need to have a portable dog kennel for his safety and yours. Don’t think of the kennel as being something to get out only at the last minute, get your dog used to it so that when the day comes that he needs to get in you won’t have to fight with him.

Preparation is the key to success and that goes as much with getting your dogs into their travel kennel as it does with anything in life. Let him sniff it thoroughly for as long as he wants to and don’t be surprised if he suddenly lifts his leg up to it. If you have purchased a second hand one then you really will need to wash it thoroughly, probably with lots and lots of hot soapy water if not bleach. This is so that you can wash as much of the previous owners smell off as possible, this will stop the constant marking of territory that some dogs will do if they smell another dog on their kennels.

Save The Date Wedding Magnets Etiquette And Ideas

Sending off your save the date wedding magnets should not be a confusing situation, but at times, it can be.  Questions of when you should send them, how you should make them, what kind of verbiage should you put on them all come to mind.  Once you find these answers, you can move forward with getting them sent to all of your potential guests.

When should you send your save the date magnets?  The easy answer is immediately!  You will want to send these off as soon as you get the chance, and here is why.  With the way the economy is nowadays, many people may have to save up for many months to fly out to your wedding celebration, so giving them a long notice will be a great way to make sure they attend.  Also, so many people set up their vacations close to a year in advance.  If you send your wedding save the date magnets off too late, they may already have their family trip set for your date.  And, of course, so many weddings and vacations clash during these summer months.

What kind of save the date wording should I use?  That all depends on what your wedding magnets look like.  If you use a photo of the bride and groom, there really is no need to use their names, like, “Tim and Tina want you to save the date!”  You should ask guests to save the date, which also means putting that date on there.  Consider adding the location, too, if known and especially if you are holding your wedding out of town or as a destination.

How should I go about making them?  I say use a great picture of the couple, and make them funny save the date magnets, at that!  The more fun the picture, the more likely your invitees will think your wedding is going to be fun…and this will lead to a better turnout!
